Now that the Black-Eyed Peas are taking a break, we are pleased to announce our new favorite hip-hop supergroup: TimberFallon! During his Tuesday night appearance on Late Night, Justin Timberlake joined host Jimmy Fallon in an incredible medley of classic rap songs -- a follow-up to their memorable "History of Rap" performance back in September. Watch below (and we dare you not to dance along)!
Our three favorite moments: Timberlake cracking up while singing the girl's part in Nelly's "Hot in Herre"; Fallon and Timberlake doing "The Dougie"; and that poor guy in audience who's rocking out to Tone Loc while wearing a neck brace. (Is it weird that we're disappointed they didn't actually do a verse of "Ice Ice Baby"?) And of course, house band The Roots killed it, as always.
If you didn't catch all 19 songs, here's a handy cheat sheet, courtesy of The Amplifier:
Kurtis Blow - "The Breaks"
Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five - "The Message"
N.W.A. - "Express Yourself"
Public Enemy - "Bring the Noise"
DJ Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock - "It Takes Two"
Salt-N-Pepa - "Push It"
Vanilla Ice - "Ice Ice Baby"
Fatman Scoop - "Put Your Hands Up"
Cypress Hill - "Insane in the Membrane"
DJ Kool - "Let Me Clear My Throat"
DMX - "Party Up in Here"
Nelly - "Hot in Herre"
50 Cent - "In Da Club"
OutKast - "Hey Ya"
Lil Wayne - "A Milli"
DJ Khaled - "All I Do Is Win"
Cali Swag District - "Teach Me How to Dougie"
Rick Ross - "B.M.F."
Tone Loc - "Just a Friend"
Kurtis Blow - "The Breaks"
Unfortunately, it seems that Jimmy and Justin only collaborate on rap medleys when Timberlake, whose Friends with Benefits hits theaters Friday, has a film to promote. His sci-fi thriller In Time is slated for October, though -- so let's all cross our fingers for "A History of Rap: Part III" then!
