And regarding symptoms the most usual is rectal bleeding and changes in bowel habits associated with pain, yes cancer hurts and it does a lot especially in colon. Symptoms can also be confused with irritable bowel syndrome in most cases. Your colonoscopy will most likely show up normal. Unless theres a finding of internal hemorrhoids.

After reading all of that I missed the part that is causing you concern about colon cancer. There is nothing in your statement that has to do with cancer much less death. People don?t know they have colon cancer until a doctor tells them. It is either found due to symptoms or during a screening exam. You don?t have symptoms and screening exams begin at 50 years old. You may be able to pressure your doctor into ordering one, but insurance companies do not pay for tests that are not medically necessary.

From your symptoms it doesn?t sound like you have cancer. You are crazy for wanting screening done. Ive had it done twice and it was a pain (literally) you shouldn?t worry about it. it sounds like you just have hemorrhoids. if having a screening done will make you feel better, try to get one done but doctors do try to leave it to a last resort.
from my point of view its better to be safe then sorry.
